[ENGLISH below] Es war am Regnen wie im Herbst. Bindfäden. Die Blues-Tanz-Community aus dem Swingin pool Cologne war dennoch stabil. Dazu zahlreiche spontane Besucher*innen. Wir hatten Spaß.
Diesmal hat Reiner Kolberg den Blues-Taster mit Hilfe von Coco gegeben und Kerstin Krause sehr gut vertreten. Vielen Dank nochmal!

Die Bluesploitation hat die Leute gut zum Tanzen gebracht. Und die Session-Musiker*innen ebenfalls. Zum ersten Mal hatten wir einen Bassisten. Und leider keine Blues harp. Ansonsten stehen die manchmal Schlange…

World premiere of the Catfish Blues performed in German by Elmore Why & The Bluesploitation. A brief recap and acknowledgments.
It was raining like in autumn — coming down in sheets. Yet the blues dance community from Swingin Pool Cologne held its ground regardless. Plus lots of drop-in visitors. We had a great time.
This time, Reiner Kolberg led the „Blues Taster“ class together with Coco, both doing an excellent job filling in for Kerstin Krause. Thanks again!
The premiere of the Catfish Blues performed in German by Elmore Why & The Bluesploitation went quite well: „Der Riesenwels“ (The Giant Catfish). In a Hendrix-style Delta Trance version.
The Bluesploitation band really got the crowd dancing—as did the session musicians. For the first time, we had a bassist. Unfortunately, however, we didn’t have a blues harp player—though usually, they’re practically lining up to play!
